The Brickset Editor Tool is an independent software written by Celdecea, a member of the Open Surge community.

As Open Surge is brick-based, all scenario objects are placed freely in the scene. A brick is something like: blocks, floors, walls, ceilings, moveable platforms, one-way platforms, trees, plants or other decorative objects. Originally one had to [[Bricksets|write brick configuration files by hand]]. The Brickset Editor Tool, however, does all the hard work for you.

The tool allows you to load or repair brickset files and manipulate the bricks they contain. All that you see is functional, and a pre-alpha version is available for testing.

At this time the Brickset Editor Tool is only available for Microsoft Windows.
